What commercial fencing do we install?
- Chain link perimeter fencing, coated or galvanized, with or without privacy slats.
- Ornamental steel fencing for storefronts, apartment buildings and offices.
- Swing and sliding vehicle gates, and pedestrian gates ready for access control hardware.
- Temporary fencing for construction and events.
- Enclosures for trash, utilities and equipment.
What do property managers ask for?
Most commercial requests come down to three things: keeping people out after hours, controlling who gets in during the day, and looking presentable from the street. Ornamental steel does all three for street frontage. Chain link covers the back lots and service yards at a much lower cost.
Are there height and material rules?
Yes, and they differ by city and zoning district. San Francisco, Daly City, South San Francisco, San Bruno and Pacifica each set their own limits on fence height, location and materials like barbed wire. Fences over the building permit threshold need a permit, and some sites need design review. We confirm the rules for the parcel before we price the job.
How is a commercial quote priced?
By the linear foot for the fence, plus each gate, posts set in concrete or core-drilled into slab, any demolition, and work hours if the site is open to the public. You get it in writing, itemized.
